BACHELOR THESIS ABSTRACT Name and surname: Barbora Hlavatá Supervisor: MUDr. Karla Kotková Opponent: Thesis title: Profile of Occupational Therapy of Clients with Acquired Brain Injuries in the non Profit Sector of Rehabilitation: Analysis of Factors Influencing the Results of Therapy Abstract: This bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part summarizes the knowledge regarding diseases belonging to the concept of acquired brain injuries and their clinical consequences. In addition, the system of rehabilitation of this target group and the status of non-governmental non-profit organizations in this system are described. The thesis provides an overview of the possibilities of occupational therapy intervention in the fourth and fifth phases of rehabilitation. The practical part of the thesis is a pilot study focusing on the following research question: "Which factors affect the success of occupational therapy in clients after brain injury?". The aim is to find factors that could influence the success of rehabilitation interventions in a particular organization. The examination of documents is the used method.
